Today Steve Jobs of Apple unveiled their newest product called iPad. It's sleek and very pretty to look at, but that's to be expected really since its made by Apple. What is more important though, is learning what it offers consumers that current netbooks and laptops don't?

At the end of the afternoon, while I was looking for snacks right after my training, my brother asked me to try and update my Firefox web browser to version 3.6 He said something about cool new themes that I had to check out. I did, and they are quite cool indeed just like he said.

Ah... finally I managed to find a bit of time to write something for this site. I'm going to talk about web browsers this time; Firefox and Chrome. Now this is not a technical review regarding each browser's overall features and performance, you won't find benchmarking charts here. This is a comparison based from a user experience standpoint, that user being me (and my brother... maybe haha).

Two years ago Google started the "Open Handset Alliance" which is a consortium of mobile software and hardware developers that intend to further advance the current open standards for mobile devices. In simple terms, the group is basically a bunch of developers wanting to create a mobile platform that is open for everybody, including non developers such as you and me. This alliance essentially created what everybody now considers to be the iPhone's major competition: Android.

Apple is at it again. They have taken an ordinary everyday used device and turned it into something really slick and cool. Even if you don't own a Mac, if you're a computer user, you'll definitely want to check out Apple's new Magic Mouse.
