What is Project204?

Project204 is a personal website I created for me to be able to learn and pickup some web development skills. At least that was the idea before. I have recently come to the conclusion that a personal website can be so much more than a training tool for me. Instead of just using this website to experiment with Javascript, PHP and MySQL, I decided that I would post content here related to my other fields of interests.

I have rebuilt this site using Joomla! to handle the content on this website. My old webpages still exist though, the pages where I practiced my Javascript and PHP scripts can still be found by following this link: Web Development Bootcamp. Bootcamp will still be the place for me to practice out new scripts or web applications.

I am Dino Edsel O. Bansigan, and I am a desktop programmer. I develop desktop applications using Java and C#, and can do mobile phone applications using J2ME. As the existence of this website suggests, I would like to venture out and learn new skills related to web application development. It's not that I'm a total beginner when it comes to web development, its just that I'm not satisfied with what I know. I simply want to learn more. Wish me luck!
